Tidybird is a bilingual referral service for home maintenance in Central Florida. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
What we collect
When you request a match: your name, email, phone number, property address, job details, and any photos you upload. When you join the waitlist: your email and language preference. We also keep the basic records needed to operate the service.
How we use it
To match you with a suitable local provider, to communicate with you about your request, and to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
The provider we match you with receives the details needed to contact you and do the job — your name, phone, email, address, and job details or photos. We also use a small set of service processors to run Tidybird: an email provider (Resend) for confirmations, object storage (Cloudflare R2) for uploaded photos, and internal operations tooling (Assistant) for outreach. They process data on our behalf, not for their own purposes.
Your choices
You control the optional SMS-confirmation and seasonal-reminder consents on the request form. You can ask us to access or delete your information by replying to any Tidybird email.
Data retention
We keep request and job records for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
Cookies and analytics
Tidybird uses only the minimal cookies needed for the site and your language preference to work. For analytics we self-host Umami: it is cookieless, collects no personal data, never tracks you across other sites, and respects your browser's Do Not Track signal. Because it sets no cookies and stores no personal data, no consent banner is required.
Children
Tidybird is intended for adults arranging work on their own property and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
